Description
The ASUS Prime B550M-A WIFI II is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD B550 chipset and featuring the AMD AM4 Socket with support for Ryzen™ 5000 / 5000 G / 4000 G / 3000 Series Processors. Designed for compact system configurations, it offers 4 x DIMM slots supporting up to 128GB of DDR4 memory speeds up to 4866(O.C) MHz across a Dual Channel Architecture. For high-speed networking and wireless device support, it incorporates onboard Wi-Fi 6 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax) and Bluetooth 5.2 alongside a Realtek 1Gb Ethernet port with ASUS LANGuard protection. Storage options include 2 x M.2 slots (Slot 1 operating at PCIe 4.0 x4 and Slot 2 operating at PCIe 3.0 x4) plus 4 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors. Expansion capabilities feature 1 x PCIe 4.0 x16 (x16 mode) slot and 2 x PCIe 3.0 x1 slots. Rear connectivity delivers 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (Type-A), 4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Type-A), and display outputs including 1 x HDMI, 1 x DVI-D, and 1 x D-Sub (VGA).
